The Fish Basket
● Closed“Best sea food yet. Very helpful owner on the way in. My wife has tollerence to dairy and gluten the chef gave her pan fried fish and chips which was a great meal as it is very difficult to get some where to eat out once you have these allergys. My daughter and I had the fish box with was filet of hake and lemon soul with peas and chips. The best seafood we have had yet. I tought the little saltee chippers in Kilmore Quay was good but this was better. Not that there is anything wrong with saltee fish and chips. Not expensive eighter. They even gave us good advice on touring coast line. Would highly recommend. A little gem. Thanks to the fish basket for a great meal.”

The waitress told us they got baby squid that day and it was unreal so we ordered the calamari to start as well. The oysters were huge, delicious, and fresh. And we shared a lobster as well which was heavenly. Highly recommend. Cheers!”
