“Best sea food yet. Very helpful owner on the way in. My wife has tollerence to dairy and gluten the chef gave her pan fried fish and chips which was a great meal as it is very difficult to get some where to eat out once you have these allergys. My daughter and I had the fish box with was filet of hake and lemon soul with peas and chips. The best seafood we have had yet. I tought the little saltee chippers in Kilmore Quay was good but this was better. Not that there is anything wrong with saltee fish and chips. Not expensive eighter. They even gave us good advice on touring coast line. Would highly recommend. A little gem. Thanks to the fish basket for a great meal.”

“Truly spectacular food. I have never ever had crab claws as good as this, perfectly cooked, juicy and so flavoursome. The loaded fries are truly something else. They are much more than loaded fries, the sauce is like the best seafood chowder of your life with gorgeous chips and banging mussels. Its worth driving from anywhere for the food here…”

We showed up with no reservation and were told how long we had for dinner before the table would be needed for a reservation. And yet, when it came time to order dessert they offered for us to stay later to enjoy it. The two course prix fixe dinner had options for everyone.”

“The seafood was beyond our expectations! Everything was fresh. We started with the sizzling shrimp which was amazing, drenched our bread in the oil/butter sauce. The waitress told us they got baby squid that day and it was unreal so we ordered the calamari to start as well. The oysters were huge, delicious, and fresh. And we shared a lobster as well which was heavenly. Highly recommend. Cheers!”

“Walked into this establishment and was impressed with the layout. Well set up for the unfortunate times we are in. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Even went as far as bringing my order outside to me which was much appreciated. Food cooked to perfection. Burgers absolutely delicious. Its a pity this place is 3 hours away from me otherwise I'd be a regular customer. I will definitely eat here again on my next trip to Kerry”
