"Doctors and nurse practitioners were pleasant to work with but the women at the front desk was very disorganized, unhelpful & rude at times. She has an attitude that created a toxic environment that no expectant mother should have to deal with."

"I’m actually shocked at all the bad reviews. I’ve seen many providers for annuals and Watkins for both my babies and have had all good experiences. I don’t like the fluffy fake personalities so maybe that’s why it works for me here? They’re real. The ultrasound room is soothing, too which is nice. Watkins literally saved my life with my first baby. Anyway, just had to post something positive here!! Also birthing at Avista was awesome."

"Wait time is horrible. I don't recommend this place to anyone. They clearly have to many patients and are over booked. Also good luck getting through to the receptionist to schedule appointments. The first 2 I was able to schedule quickly the rest I was on hold for 30-60 minutes trying to get someone to answer so I could schedule appointments. I finally gave up and found a different doctor instead of dealing with that frustration. This place didnt even reach out to see if I was going to a new practice or if I was okay or needed to schedule another appointment. I never heard anything from them. They clearly don't care about their patients. I'm so glad I decided on a different practice for my OB care. Avoid this place at all cost. It's a horrible place for OB and they really don't seem to care about their patients or babies."

"Disorganized!! I had 4 interactions with this office and THREE OUT OF FOUR, they made a logistical mistake. 1) First appt, they put my intake papers on the wrong providers desk. Took 45 minutes for them to sort it out and give the correct doctor time to read it over before I could be seen. 2) Doctor told me to come to their office for lab work. I showed up and the LabCorp tech had no record of my name, so she didn’t know what needed to be done. Doctor had forgotten to submit the lab order. Waited 45 minutes for her to do it, no apology from her. 3) I requested medical records be printed since I was moving. Got a VM that they were ready for pick up. When I went to pick them up… they could not be found! Luckily I called ahead to check because at that point I had low confidence in the office."

"I cannot recommend Avista Women's Care highly enough. Never have I felt so comfortable in a doctor's office. During the third trimester of my pregnancy I became high risk and risked out of the free standing birth center I was going to use. I was devastated and spent a lot of time trying to find midwives that would/could still care for me. Avista was the only place I found with that capability. They took me in late in my pregnancy, made me feel welcome, and gave me such competent, kind and compassionate care. The front desk staff, nurses, ultrasound, midwife, and doctors are all so friendly. I wanted a natural, unmedicated birth which they and the L&D department were very supportive of (despite my high risk). They let me make my delivery room comfy and cozy. My labor ended up being a disaster and an emergency cesarean birth (due to no fault of theirs). The whole team made this as comfortable an experience as it could possibly be and I have no trauma from the event. The midwives patiently walked me through everything and were so caring.
