"STAY AWAY FROM HERE!! I have been fighting with this office since October because they billed a visit incorrectly and refuse to update the claim. My insurance even called the office and confirmed it was billed incorrectly and the office refuses to update the claim. This is INSURANCE FRAUD and they are preventing their patients from getting coverage because no one will own this situation and they refuse to dive into it. I even paid to get a copy of the notes from the visit and the doctors notes EXPLICITLY state what happened but no one bothers to read past the first line. This is beyond unprofessional and I would stay AWAY from this clinic as they will bill you to get more money and refuse to assist once the bill has been closed out. If you care about your health and want coverage, stay away from here as they will blindly bill your insurance and refuse to admit fault. Save yourself hours on the phone as well as a lot of money and stay away from this office!!"

"Surprise billing with zero upfront communication Scheduled an annual wellness exam as a new patient. Was told I was required to have a "pre-visit" appointment for paperwork. I was never told that this would be a charged appointment. During the "pre-visit" I provided medical history including frequent heart palpitations that I would like a referral for a cardiologist. I was then asked to do an EKG so they could confirm I was stable. I told them I was fine and that I've had them for years and had many EKGs and nothing captures them. Still proceeded with EKG. I then left the "pre-visit" with my wellness exam already scheduled for the next month. 2 weeks later, I received a bill for $532 for an office visit. Apparently the required "pre-visit" appointment is a chargeable new patient visit where if you talk to the doctor about anything medical, they recode the appointment to something other than your covered wellness exam. I filed a dispute with billing that was denied and when I called the appointments person and asked why this isnt communicated at the time of scheduling, I was told this is "common knowledge". I later spoke to another doctor at the practice and was told that she often does the physical during the pre-visit so that it can be coded under the wellness exam. The doctor I saw did not give this as an option. I was also informed by the second doctor that they schedule doctors in 20 minute blocks and so if any communication is expected to exceed those 20 minutes, they make you schedule additional appointments (each charged separately). Would avoid at all cost. While the doctors were pleasant, this place is more interested in scamming patients for money vs actually helping them. I also never received a call about any test results and while I was there for my last visit, one of the aids told me that the systems were down and they thought the medical records were being hacked. The doctor also confirmed the computers were down."

"They don't care about you and on top of that are borderline dangerous in how they handle prescriptions. Prescribed me the, quite frankly, complete wrong form of LIVESAVING medication. And, when I realized it, they wouldn't see me the day of because there were "no openings". Lifesaving medication, let me repeat that. Also tripled billed me for a single appointment and it took over 6 months to get my refund check from them. Mismanaged and terrible. Avoid at all costs"

"Unequipped to handle standard state of CO preschool documents: My son had to have his General Health Appraisal form signed over the summer before he could enter preschool. I had to schedule an appointment in order to get some time for the doctor to sign the form. Upon the time of the appointment the office was perplexed as to what this standard document was and unsure of how to key this appointment into their system so they do not charge me for the visit. When meeting with the doctor he was also unaware of this form, asked my son if he “was feeling ok,” signed the form and made a copy for their records. Months later, I discovered a bill for this visit for $294. After several conversations with their billing department about this they maintain that this was adequate billing for an unscheduled appointment and have sent my unpaid bill to collections. I would highly advise if you are using these folks as your primary care provider for your child to ensure you get standard state of CO documents signed during an annual checkup. Otherwise, they are unequipped to handle a quick signature indicating your child does not have allergies and maintains a proper diet for their age and will charge you $294 for a 5 second visit."

"Their Billing Service SUCKS!!! Didn't owe any money to them but still they sent an almost $400 bill out to Collection!! I called them 4 times and every time they said I don't owe anything to them. But I never stopped getting a call from the collection agency for a full year. My Credit score got hampered. Finally, I lost my patience and called New West's Billing department and made them to call to the Collection agency to take my name off. I was very very Frustrated with them. I hope not to get anymore call from the Collection agency."
