"This individual is, without any reservations, the worst "doctor" my family has ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I wish I could give negative stars. My father had a PET scan on 16 Aug 23 that revealed metastatic lung cancer (stage IV) and a collapsed right lung. He was admitted into Skyridge hospital in Denver on 17 Aug 23. Klancar is the attending KP oncologist at Skyridge. My father was scheduled for a biopsy to determine the type of cancer on 17 Aug 23. That was pushed to 18 Aug 23. When radiology came to get my Dad for the procedure, they could not complete the procedure because they didn't have the PET scan results. Skyridge radiology didn't have the PET scan because this horrible individual didn't give it to them because "I was afraid they would lose it". So, the biopsy was not completed, and right now, my father sits in Skyridge untreated by this hack of a oncologist. Klancar did not review and single note about my father's condition nor review the PET scan results. She actually told my father and mother that he should just "go home" because "we aren't going to do anything over the weekend". Because she didn't review any of my father's information, she didn't even know he has recurring pleural effusion or that his lung had collapsed and that he is getting a drain put in for the effusion on 21 Aug 23. She knew nothing about my father at all. She didn't even tell him he has cancer or how bad it is. Her willful neglect and incompetence is breathtaking. She shouldn't be allowed to practice medicine, which is contradictory because she literally isn't practicing as she has done nothing for my father. Nothing. In addition, once my family learned of her incompetence, we arranged a transfer to another oncology department in Denver. She called them up and lied to them about the transferring stating that my father "was getting the appropriate level of care". She hadn't even read my father's chart and said he was getting an appropriate level of care. I guess for her appropriate level of care is doing nothing. Pray that you never have to deal with this individual or you will be dealing with what my family and o are dealing with right now ... watching our father die from a treatable cancer because this individual did ... nothing. Stay away."
