The salesman Phillip showed up on time, provided very detailed information about the move process, and gave us documentation about our rights/laws during the move. The office was great at following up with us for move details and making sure everything was setup. We even were able to pickup used boxes for free from the warehouse to accommodate our move. The movers were friendly, quick, and great at what they do. I highly recommend this service as it was also at a great price that fit our budget."

"Allied gave us probably one of the worst moving experiences people could have. When the packers arrived, they informed us that they were going to get the whole 5 bedroom, 4 bath home packed in one day because they were NOT going to work on a Saturday (it was definitely a 2 day job). They were incredibly careless, hurried as fast as they could and literally labeled 90% of the boxes as FR or LR even though they did not have front room or living room items in the box. They crammed soooooooooo much excessive paper in boxes of things that DID NOT even need paper- things like bath towels and plastic cups. In one big box it had nothing in it but a ton of paper and one light bulb!! I kid you not! They individually wrapped all my McCormick spices that are in little plastic containers. Why?? What a waste of paper and trees! When you open a box and every single thing in it, even spices and Tylenol are wrapped in tons of paper, you have no idea what’s in the box and since they’re labeled wrong, it’s just been a real headache to sort everything out. Then, they kept setting their sweaty drink cups all over our wooden furniture, leaving rings and now I will have to pay someone to fix the damage they did. Okay, so they wrap everything excessively except the things that actually matter. They also broke a really cool mid century pole lamp of mine because they didn’t even wrap it, they just threw it on the truck. They took a million smoke breaks and left abt 25 cigarette out butts all over the road in front of our home. Our delivery was scheduled between Sept 3-9. The truck arrived on Sept 12th. When they arrived, the very first piece of furniture they were unloading, they dropped it off the ramp, shattered the mirror and really banged up my coveted antique hall tree. When they were moving everything in through the front door, they broke the glass and the screen of the front door on the home we are renting. So we also get to pay to fix that!! The guys asked us if we wanted to file any claims for all the damage but when I said yes, he asked me not to and offered me $100 of his own money, which I refused because it feels awkward to literally take someone’s own money- he told us that the company doesn’t pay for anything and they make the movers pay out of their own pocket. Plus $100 wouldn’t even begin to cover not only the things they broke and damaged but also what we have to pay to fix front screen/glass door and to have my furniture refinished where they kept setting their drinks. Worst moving experience ever! I would not ever recommend them to anyone! We paid $18,000 and this was they type of service we received. I find it so frustrating that Allied and their sister company, North American do not take better care of their customers and attempt to make things right after such a terrible experience."
