They are entirely faithful to their word, there are no hidden fees, and they genuinely transport your furniture in the safest way possible, taking time to wrap each item with blankets and plastic wrap when possible; 5 stars are not enough; I would give Dennis and Mike 10 star ratings if I could!"

"We used Gentle Johns recently again for our home remodel. These guys are phenomenal. They dont charge all the extra fees and the movers are great. We had the same driver who did our original move last year and he is fantastic! Thanks again Breonne for a great move! Price was accurate. No extra fees and all is by the hour. They even called and checked on how i felt the crew was performing twice. Crew was great and very funny. Would definitely recommend. Breonne and Irving need a raise!"

"Just about everything you don't want in a moving company. One star is deserved for showing up on time, and that's about it. Movers were very rough, with my stuff breaking many things in the process. The time it took to move was over double what was estimated. The "leader" who did nothing but organize the truck was constantly causing a bottle neck in their "system." Movers were constantly waiting on him and offered him no help. Towords the end of the move, they were taking up one box at a time and seemed to be milking the clock. The leader was smoking in the back of the moving truck with my things on several occasions. I have contacted this company 4 times about all my damaged things they just keep telling me they'll send a form to me within 30 minutes. Nothing after 3 weeks and 4 calls. I even have a video of them being very rough with my things, bouncing them down the stairs on a dolly, things that were clearly marked fragile. Update: Still no response, no investigation, no compensation. Buyer beware! Totally unprofessional, they'll screw you over!"

"We hired Gentle Johns moving last weekend 5/20/23. We had the second time slot for an afternoon move. Movers showed up at 4:40 pm. There were 3 guys who showed up for a 3 bedroom apartment that needed moving into a house. Workers finally got everything loaded about 7 pm and they were on their way to our new house. Come 9 pm, they hand me an invoice for $1090 with an end time of 9:30. Meanwhile, a lot of the furniture had not been moved into the house, just set in our garage for us to move ourselves. We had a bunk bed that they took apart but lost most of the screws and bolts to it so they left us with a half put together bunk bed and no where for our kids to sleep as it was unsafe. We spent the next few days moving the rest of the furniture ourselves and finding parts to fix the bed. I emailed the company with our concerns, with no response back. Stay far away from this company unless you want to pay a ton of money for incomplete job."
