China Tea Club
“Last min booking for 2 with pram. Nice setting as we sat down... our baby offcourse cries so we had to ask for takeaway. So we ended up having our takeaway half cold but we were still very pleased with the flavour and quality. Will definitely try again, perhaps bub will cooperate next time.”
Penny University Cafe
“This is my favourite cafe in Kingston area and I am a regular here. It’s hard running a café business in a post covid world but Penny University has maintained a high level of quality throughout the years. Thanks for all the great memories excellent coffees, food and beyond.”
Two Blind Mice Curtin
“Fantastic new restaurant in Curtin. Whilst we did have to wait a while to get a table, it was well worth the wait. The gnocchi and Margherita pizza were delicious, and the cocktails were very well made. The staff were all super friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. Will definitely be back again.”
Pepper Lunch
“Love the food here, it's a place I go when I want a treat. The service is always super fast and friendly. I try to go outside peak times so I can get a table, as it is very popular, with reason.”
Lilotang
“Stepping into Lilotang, you're greeted with modern decor and an ambiance that strikes the right balance between lively and intimate. The music plays at just the right volume, allowing for personal conversation while muting the chatter of neighboring tables. A highlight of the setting is the digital specials board, projected on the wall with animated art, adding a unique and contemporary touch. The Tasting menu at Lilotang offered an intriguing journey of flavors. Starting with Oyster in yuzu sorbet and spicy ponzu, the meal was off to a promising start. The salmon and miso eggplant were particular standouts, each bursting with flavor. The slow-cooked pork with miso butter and crispy Brussels sprouts were satisfying, though the chicken thigh skewers left a bit to be desired. The dessert, while tasty, proved a bit challenging to share among the party. The drink selection was pleasant, with a soft and nice rosé and tasty mocktails, even if they were not explicitly paired with the meals. Service at Lilotang was adequate but faced some inconsistencies. An allergy concern within our party was initially dismissed, despite prior notification, but eventually handled with persistence. This hiccup did slightly mar the experience. The pricing for the Tasting menu seemed fair for the diverse and interesting flavors offered. The restaurant's overall cleanliness and sensory ambiance contributed positively to the evening. In summary, Lilotang offers an above-average dining experience with some highlights and minor shortcomings, resulting in a rating of 6 to 7 out of 10. I'd recommend a visit if you're in the mood for an explorative culinary experience, but there's no rush to make it a regular spot. The charm and flavors are there, but a few refinements could elevate the overall dining pleasure.”
Baby Su
“Food once again was amazing, the addition of QR codes to order was good as well. Food came quickly and drinks were very nice as well.”
Harmonie German Club
“We went to the Harmonie club on a Tuesday night. It was very busy, being the $12 schnitzel special night and we thought that we would have to wait quite a long while for our food. However once our orders were taken it took about 15 minutes for our food to arrive, which was excellent considering that it was extremely busy. There were generous portions of all the dishes that we had ordered, which were quite tasty as well. Overall, a great experience and extremely good value for money. Highly recommended.”
Sunday in Canberra Cafe
“We had our wedding in Sunday in Canberra. They have prepared everything for us from decorations to food and cake. All we can say is we had an amazing time and everything is perfect. 10/10. It made our special day extra special. The cake is just perfect and is very delicious. All our guests enjoyed everything especially the cake and the coffee. The cake has been the talk in the office for awhile. The presentation of the food and the decorations are on point. Worth every penny we paid. It is indeed a good value. We will definitely celebrate more milestone in our lives with this cafe.”

“This cafe is hidden away in Aranda and I must say I was glad to have discovered it. The venue is quite large with both indoor and outdoor seating. They grow a lot of their produce and source locally across Australia. I was quite impressed with the serving size of my scrambled eggs on toast and it tasted delicious too. Coffee was not bad either, will definitely be back!”
