“Stopped by for a quick breakfast. Got the bacon & egg roll and medium coffee for $10. There were a few customers ahead of us but our food didn't take long to come out. Food and coffee were both great, so I would highly recommend this café.”

“A little bit of a wait because they don’t take bookings however food was delicious. Coffee was well was very well made. The view also is very nice to look at. Made our own breakfast combo and the portions are huge. Service was very good given how busy they were. Definitely would recommend to others if your in Canberra. Must eat and visit.”

“I stayed here to work within Parliamentary Triangle; the hotel was well-located in Old Kingston close to hotels, restaurants, bakeries and supermarket shopping. The rooms were quite spacious and clean; my whole stay was very pleasant, I'll re-book in a future trip.”

The young woman barista worked in Melb and does a magic magic . . . better than almost all the coffees I had in Newcastle, other parts of Canberra and all the way down the east coast back to Melb . . . absolutely go here. “Great service and delicious food. We got the banquet menu, where every dish was great. The staff were super welcoming and friendly - very professional and knew their stuff. The food and wine came quickly, and were all very tasty. The only small strange thing was they used the same main plate for all the different dishes - so the fish was mixing with lamb, mixing with the chicken etc. It would have been good to change plates between dishes. Overall - highly recommended”

“Kodiak is absolutely the best place to head to for the start of a big night in Canberra - or just hang out there and chill. Great service - and there's also a nice outdoor area (under cover) for people who prefer fresh air. The food is designed for sharing - and is first class. Friendly staff and reasonably well priced drinks.”

This cafe was recommended by a colleague - I caught up with a friend here (both from interstate but here for work). We ordered a Breakfast Deluxe with scrambled eggs - very enjoyable & reasonably priced. Will definitely be back to check out the other restaurants along this strip. Can’t wait to try some other treats off their menu.”

“Love going to the Kingston Foreshore Restaurants. Coconine is well located right on the waterfront, so it’s nice and relaxing. We ordered satay chicken skewers and spicy prawns entree. Must say that the spicy prawns were yum. The rest of the dishes were great too, but wasn’t too impressed with the Chicken Paad Thai.”

“We keep coming back to this great establishment. Very friendly & welcoming staff at the Durham Castle Arms @ Kingston We went there for Lunch & on the strength of that we then did dinner there on 2 seperate occasions. Seating is great as you have the choice of indoor or outdoor dining. Their menu is great as it also caters for Vegetarians & Pescatarians! We had a great time there. It seems to have the patronage of a good cross section of people ranging from young professionals to the young at heart. Very safe place to go to. Thank you for great food, beer, wine & great ambience. The inside is like some of the real pubs you would encounter in the UK. Highly recommend the Durham to all. We look forward to going back there.”

“We went in a small group for a couple of late drinks and both the service and cocktails were very good. Particular mention to the owner who introduced herself and was very sweet and attentive. Even when we were the last group there and they were closing she wasn’t trying to rush us out which so often happens at other bars etc I rarely write reviews but wanted to acknowledge really good, friendly service.”
