Cafe in Fyshwick

“So others had recommended Celestino's to me so I decided to see what all the hype was about. Good range of pizza, pasta, risottos and other meals both on the menu and on the blackboard. We chose to share a pizza from the board between two and each had a drink. My companion had a coffee (very nice) and I had sparkling water. Two glasses with ice were provided without being asked which was good service Pizza was bought to the table 10-15 mins after ordering. Looked and tasted delicious and the crust was delightfully thin and crispy. We finished up with sharing a pecan pie from their cakes cabinet that was also delightfully moist and tasty. Service from the three staff we interested with was awesome and we'll definitely be back for more.”

“Very popular from brunch when we visted on Saturday morning. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the service was fast. The coffee was very good and served at the right temperature. Delicious bacon and egg roll on a freshly cooked baguette. Candian pancakes with bacon and poached egg was fantastic. I would highly recommend visiting.”

“Ordered lamb shanks with rice and gravy. Believe me, meat cooked to perfection and was succulent. Gravy was perfect with rice. Even asked for extra rice and they gave it with gravy for free. Good people, great food. I work in Tuggeranong but do drive every now and then. It’s worth it.”

“We treated ourselves to breakfast at Silk Cafe and we weren't disappointed! Great atmosphere, good service and amazing food. We had eggs Benedict, 2 perfectly poached eggs, a decent serve of bacon that was cooked just till it was caramelised, crispy sour dough bread with fresh spinach. But the best thing was the sauce. OMG it was sooooo good! The chai latte was real chai and my husband had a cappuccino made with Zymil- a option which was so nice to see. Don't be fooled by the location amongst the industrial businesses- it's a little gem. Highly recommend.”

“This is the best Vietnamese Bakery I've come across in Fyshwick area. The “Banh Mi” - Vietnamese rolls are incredibly delicious, crunchy rolls and fresh herbs as always. The taste is so authenticity to compare with Vietnamese taste. The setting is lovely and simple. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It has become my favourite local restaurant (To be honest it is the best quality ever in Canberra)”

“Awesome place to start your day with a great coffe or breakfast”

“The first time I went was a week ago and I've been back 3 times since. The Reuben (add pickles) is my go to, though I'd love to try the forest mushroom. The entire menu looks very enticing and the servings are generous and very tasty. During the week at the times I went (both morning and early arvo) were relatively quiet. Today, a Saturday 1pm, very very busy, with this location I'm surprised just how busy it is. The only thing I didn't like was the coffee, that was a bit average in all honesty. But that's bot why I went, I go purely for the sangas! There's a small amount of seating inside but it's kind of cramped for my taste, cozy would be a good way to describe it. There's 2 large and 3 small wire spool tables and 2 normal tables out front to sit at with umbrellas. The staff serve with smiles and are very polite. They also sell branded merchandise which is interesting.”
