Front desk, bar staff and food service were all friendly and helpful. Particularly front desk. Prices were right, food was great and we were made to feel valued.”

I went with my partner,he loved and enjoyed it more. If you are a healthy eating person,they have many varieties of salads too.. A suitable place where you would like to revisit on every occasion. Just make sure you are super hungry when you go there if you want to enjoy as much as you want. We did a booking before we went but they might take walkins too.♡♡”

“I have, over the years eaten at many restaurants good and bad. Queanbeyan has many of the latter and very, very few of the former. I was by chance to dine at this club on Sunday 17/7/16 for lunch with my daughter. My overall opinion - do not miss this place - fantastic ! From the start, the service at the bar was impressive - efficient, cheerful and given that we were dining, our drinks were even brought to our table by the very amicable bar manager. (He even anticipated another glass of iced water for my daughter! - how's that!) Then lunch. We ordered the 'Sunday Roast' and expecting the typical - club over-cooked meat and soggy vegetables with Gravox. I am delighted to report that it was nothing like that and was absolutely brilliant. There was plenty of it and everything was delicious, gravy outstanding, chicken awesome and the five (yes 5) assorted vegetables were terrific - this not to mention the great waiter service and delivery time. I really can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Get down there to this club, you will not be disappointed. Credit where credit's due. (this is not a paid reference) Cheers MB”

“The sign out the front says new manager, new hours, inside is warm and inviting. Best of all, they have a great young chef who is turning out some great quick meals, perfect with a beer for lunch and dinner. We tried the chicken schnitzel roll ($16 with chips and salad ) and the pulled pork roll ($16 also). Really nice and a great price. We were told later that the pulled pork starts life as the pork knuckle, which could explain why it’s so good. Whole place needs a bit of modernising but I understand that’s on the way too. Well worth a try.”

“The Southern Cross is a great place to go for lunch and dinner. Staff are always friendly, and the food is yummy. Service is quick and variety on the menu. They also have meat raffles and much more.”

“The Family like to go out for Christmas day, for Lunch, so the Canberra Southern Cross Club had some tables empty at the Club. Our first time in Jamison's Canberra Southern Cross Club. The Christmas lunch was great; the Staff service is fantastic, we all had great time that day. Today we came for lunch at the Canberra Southern Cross Club, we were taken to our table. The Staff are friendly and the service is fantastic again when we were here last time. The lunch was excellent and we will come back again. The Club is Friendly with Families who have Children with them, and can order Children menu for them. There is a Playground outside and inside a game room too. Parking outside the entrance and also Disability Parking in the front entrance.”
