The park features campgrounds including Huckleberry, Madrone, and Dawn Redwood Group Camp, which fully reopen a week before Memorial Day weekend. The last night to camp in Huckleberry and Dawn Redwood is the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Madrone Campground is open between 9/2 to 5/24 (off season) as walk-in only with self-registration available at the park entrance (cash/check only).
