Parkinson’s disease affects over a million people in the United States, with more than 60,000 new diagnoses each year. At Rock Steady Boxing, we see Parkinson’s as the opponent. Through rigorous exercises adapted from boxing drills, our program focuses on enhancing agility, speed, muscular endurance, accuracy, hand-eye coordination, footwork, and overall strength. These workouts are designed to extend the perceived capabilities of our participants, helping them maintain and improve their motor skills and overall health.
