"We have done more than a few projects with Mike and all went over smoothly and the end results are stunning. During each project, Mike was in constant contact every day, and would stop by the house almost every day to chat with me and make sure the work was progressing. When necessary, he obtained the permits from city hall and was here when each inspector came by. There was no downtime for inspections or permits. He listened to my input and the projects turned out just how my wife and I wanted. Every sub-contractor he brought in to do each stage was professional and on-time. "Michael Baum did a kitchen remodel for us about two years ago. It proved to be more of a structural challenge than anyone anticipated, but he and his firm made up for the delay with an alternative plan (extending the roofline to accommodate cabinetry) at cost. He and the office staff kept us updated on any cost overruns and itemized every expense and cost for our review and approval. He was patient and professional throughout the process. I highly recommend Baum Construction. He worked well with my designer and had wonderful subcontractors."
