El Dorado East Regional Park

Originally dedicated in 1944, the park has expanded over the years to now cover 28.74 acres of land. Named after former Superintendent of Parks Herman J. In addition to the recreational facilities, Scherer Park also features a lake with a waterfall and cascade, a small recreation building, and a police substation.
