"A nice little area for the pups. Approx a 1/4 acre area for all sizes of dogs. No grass, just dirt. But plenty of things for the dogs to sniff and explore. Good for a quick visit and to let the dogs get some exercise."
"Love taking my dog Coco there. She loves it and it's very peaceful there."
"The homeless population at this park will make you regret going here. I have gone to this dog park for years but on my most recent visits I found myself walking past tents and trash and some people....loitering. There are 2 sides to this park and the side with the ducks isnt as trashed but id still say its just not safe for kids or animals. Smells of urine in some areas. Public tables with blankets and tweakers. Find another park man."
"I like this dog park. There is almost always someone for our dog to play with. I’ve taken him to other local parks and there is no one. Everyone is always nice so far. There are plenty of benches and chairs. It’s shady and big. There are a couple balls and toys just lying around."
"Large dog side and small dog side. Water bowls avail available both sides. Yes, they work. Benches under shaded trees. Excellent. However, landscape needs a lot of tending. A greener park will bring in more public. A taken care of foundation is what brings tourists and more customers to Long beach. Just a suggestion. Available poopy bags and believe bathrooms are located next to playground. I rate a three star soley based on the landscape. A good landscape equals happy dogs equals more foot traffic for the public. Please keep up on the up keep for greener foundation. Not just dirt... Thank you Uptown Dog Park and Thank you Long Beach!"
