"I am amending a 1-star review as Tim has gone above and beyond to reach out and work with me regarding the issues I had when dealing with State Farm's Claim department. My family has been customers of State Farm for over three decades. We originally had been clients of Doug Van Wyck, and things were usually fairly straightforward. I did have a fairly negative experience with a member of his staff when I had my first accident (over ten years ago, the staff member no longer works at this office), but overall the experience was what one would expect from your insurance company. That brings me to my recent accident. State Farm Claims dropped the ball countless times during this process. I won't get into all the issues, but it was an incredibly stressful experience. To be clear, I was not found at fault for this accident. The other driver was found 100%. I need to call out one member of Tim's office in particular. Nicole has worked at the Clayton office for I don't know how long (she was working with Doug before he retired). I have almost ALWAYS asked for Nicole when I call the office. Not only does she have the answers to any of your questions (and if she doesn't, she WILL find it), she is an absolute delight to talk to. She has a very upbeat personality, and is able to diffuse the most tense and uncomfortable calls in a way that is both natural and reassuring. State Farm is incredibly lucky to have someone like her working for them. I recommend asking for her on your next call, you won't be disappointed! Tim is currently working with me in order to find a resolution to the issues I encountered while dealing with SF Claims. He has made it clear that not only does he want to make sure I have everything I need to feel like a valued client, he also has a drive to ensure that these types of situations don't happen to ANYONE again. I hope to update this review once a resolution has been found."
