We Care at Scotia Bluffs

"I've been a patient since early 2023, and have always felt comfortable and welcome here. The receptionists, assistant and Dentists on staff are always pleasant, humorous and have given me a bedside manner where I feel I can be transparent with them. I even left a phone once on accident and they held on to it for me. They play groovy music (80's today) and had some folks panting a gorgeous mural on the inside wall. Certainly I wait a few months spaced out between appointments because I don't like going in every other week and like a little space in between to relax and come down from my Novocaine highs. They are in the Palco shopping center next to a store that has a super good Deli on the inside--so make sure you're not starving before your dental work, that place is the whip! Worth the drive from Arcata A+"

"The receptionist Diana o. Has made every visit stressful. Her Abuse of power and has made it to where I am only seen as a walk in, knowing that I have dental issues that need to be taken care she's cancelled my appointment bc not confirmed a text, my seasonal work is taxes this time of the year my schedule is not very reliable and I got called into work, I called the day of to let them know and she marked it against me even though when she made the appointments all at once I asked can't I just get one appointment and go from there and she said something about policy having to make so many appointments Now I go in there and she is rude to me treats me poorly and I'm in dental pain and I just don't have the patience for her attitude or pwer control issues anymore"

"I have no words. My cleaning was rescheduled twice prior. I went to the new date and was told by the RDA when I was already in the back that they were going to do X-rays instead, despite the five confirmation texts/emails/calls for a cleaning. So I decided to wait for the appointment following that got changed into a new cleaning date. This one was rescheduled by the staff for a NEW new cleaning date because a dentist had left (not the hygienist, mind you). So this was the fourth reschedule. The receptionist (who was not very kind) stated that they couldn't confirm that this new appt would be for a cleaning. I feel yanked around and the one cleaning I've had with them was the least thorough I've had in my life. If you can- pay out of pocket somewhere else and just get reimbursed. Dental in Humboldt is so exhausting."

"If there is a no star for this review that is my review for this "wecare" nonsense place. Dentist is horrible and so are the ones thay pretend to clean your teeth.. Did a little "flick , flick" totally 7 seconds of "click click click" on my tooth. To my surprise , he said I'm done. Please don't waste your time and your gas coming to this place. They do not clean your teeth. I believe they are not even real hygienist or dentist. I totally wasted my time ."

"Nice location inside the beautiful Palco Shopping Center. Once I'm checked in, I'm always taken back quickly. The facilities are very clean and the staff are all very friendly and attentive to each patient needs and care. The only reason for giving We Care 4 Stars rather than 5 Stars is because the appointments are booked several months out. I realize their busy and serve a large list of patients, so it's understandable. There's a significant lack of dental care providers in the area. I'm fortunate and grateful I was able to find this place. I know lots of folks who have to travel out of the area for dental care. I know some people who travel almost 6 hours one way for regular dental appointments ! Knowing that certainly makes my 40 min drive from McKinleyville seem painless"
