As with many families, my mother’s death was unexpected and they worked patiently with us to give my mom what she would’ve wanted. Furthermore, Mr. and Mrs. Deters called us the day after the funeral to follow-up and check in on us. "The funeral home is decent as long as you don't have any children to bring with you. Days before the funeral, the director kept suggesting to my mom to find babysitters for all of our families' children if we could. Our whole family was at the funeral so that wasn't possible. The whole time the kids were confined to one room if they got a little rowdy he was upset. I was stared at disapprovingly for changing my daughter's diaper on a couch because there aren't any places to change babies. The other two funeral directors were nice but the main one was rude even to adults and made a comment about my husband's accent and he could tell he wasn't from here. Yes they did a decent service for my aunt but we didn't like how the main guy was rude about us having our kids there. So I would recommend it only if you have no children that will be attending."
