"very unprofessional the way they talk to people they dont care about anything but money if u get sick or have any type of temporary problems they will not work with u u will just u will just get a eviction notice its sad my dad had cancer and could not pay for 2 weeks they still evicted him when called to ask can i pay his rent they said nope its already in the courts"
"This company ended up buying the apartments I was staying in right before my lease ended and WOW do I wish I moved early. HORRIBLE communication, they have an office that no one works out of? I had to email 6 different times to 4 different emails before I FINALLY had someone tell me how to pay my rent. They do not pay a trash company, simply have a man in a truck that took a WEEK to come empty our trash bins, there was trash everywhere outside and it was DISGUSTING. They also have a system set up so even if you have a signed lease with a move out date they can say you didn't let them know you were moving and charge you for months AFTER your lease ends. This is a SLUMLORD company, DO NOT rent with them, I wish I could give 0 stars."
"resident for three years very unprofessional when it comes to repairs or phone calls put tenants last only thing they care about is the money you need to pay beginning of the month apartment was good until berkshire came to play. i can’t reach em they won’t respond manegers or bully’s don’t enforce rules. they drag there feet every single time you ask them for anythin, they walk into your apartment as if they are mad you called to get your unit fixed. jus trust me think before choosing these people to live on property they are not good people ( side note jean was pretty good when i first met her but after she got me in the apartment then she disappears for 4 yrs) everybody else is very unprofessional .."
"Highly “not” recommended! One year after BHHS took over my complex. My rent nearly doubled!! Must vacate or pay $700 increase (with no. Upgrades or Renovations-outdated interior & flooding issues)& currently have no heat(pending repairs). Good tenant, paid on time for 4yrs! I was Told Rate hike is non negotiable. Highly Unethical & Ruthless. Greed & Heartless organization."
"They just come in to your apartment whenever they want. I went through a huge ordeal back in July of 2023 when I had lived here just over a year (about a month after signing a new lease) they notified me on the online portal that they would be coming into my apartment around 8:30am the day of, I wrote a note (since I work from home and might be on a call) to please text me before entering... I went out for a coffee that day and came back and they were in my apartment... I complained that I wasn't given notice (in the state of OH, notice is supposed to be given in writing 24 hours before entry) they gave me a gift card and apologized. I figured this was a 1 time occurrence... Flash forward to this past week, They left written notice that they would be entering the day of.... not only that but the notice they left wasnt posted properly.... it was storming that day and when I went outside... all the hot pink papers that had been posted were flooding the parking lot.... drenched in water.... swimming away... there are a lot of elderly people who live here and I just know they weren't made aware that someone would be entering their apartment.... when I contacted the office via phone right after receiving the notice, she said it would be passed alon but there was nothing she could do... then she hung up on me.... I tried reaching out on our online portal and explained the entire situation, including how they had already done this to us once... all I got in return was "sorry, they actually didn't need to access your apartment, sorry for the inconvenience" without even acknowledging that this is the second time this has happened! literally the least of it, but why have I lived here under 2 years and we have had FOUR inspections??? What exactly are you inspecting? nothing is ever made clear. I am keeping documentation of every interaction we have.... I'm just waiting for my lease to be up so I can move. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE They're probably GREAT if you're buying a $200,000 house, but if you are just renting an apartment they recently acquired, BEWARE!!!!"
