"So glad to be affiliated with Dr. Weisbrot. He’s been my primary care physician for many years and the MDVIP experience with him and his office staff have been excellent. I always am recognized when I call and am treated like a friend more than just a patient."
"Dr. Weisbrot is the best physician I have had! He has guided me through all of my medical issues and has prescribed effective medications and weight recommendations to keep me balanced in my diabetic numbers."
"Dr. Weisbrot is always professional. He takes great care of me and my family. I highly recommend him to others. He’s the best of the best."
"My experience here was absolutely terrible and left me feeling very small, insignificant and unheard. My previous doctor passed away recently and, unfortunately in my 36 years, I have alot going on healthwise. I was optimistic about having Dr. Weisbrot continue the care I was receiving through my previous provider but, he decided otherwise and for what reason, I do not know. First, there was an issue with my insurance provider, which is Caresource medicaid. The doctor and his receptionist asked me how the previous office handled processing my visits. Since I do not work at that office and am simply a patient seeking care, I did not know the answer to this question. Later, the doctor decided he wanted to play a role that he is not designated to and asked me how I could afford the program I was in and be on medicaid. This man does not know who I am, my background or my situation. This visit was NOT supposed to be a meet and greet, it was to be a quick visit for a medication refill and we would schedule a meet and greet at another time. Besides all that, my finances are none of his business but I told him my mother has paid for this service ($1,800 a year) in order for me to receive better care than I have in the past- especially with what I have going on healthwise. I cannot work due to having major instability in the lumbar region of my back and have been working tirelessly to navigate the healthcare system in order to correct the problem, outside of useless procedures that only numb the pain, not correct the problem. Again, none of his business but I happily obliged. The medication I needed refilled was Ritalin. I have an extreme mix of ADD/ADHD with a touch of high functioning Autism. I was diagnosed as a teenager and later, rediagnosed as an adult. Dr. Weisbrot claimed he could not find my psychological evaluation and then, decided not to refill the prescription based off an entry from 2019, from a doctor I saw one time. He did not refer to the previous year's notes... Nor did he follow the previous providers recommendations. Again, I accepted that, nothing I can do right? I told him I needed a referral to a new pain management office, one that helps those who have a medical marijuana card and he was highly recommended to me for the condition I am in. Dr. Weisbrot asked me why I needed the referral. I explained to him about the closeness and the marijuana. I also explained to him the previous pain management doctor only performed procedures that would not fix the problem. Dr. Weisbrot was shaking his head as I was explaining this to him, which leads me to believe he was not receptive to my explanation. Ultimately, he cut me off and asked me what a procedure does? Well, it should mitigate an issue you're having... And while they did decrease the pain I was in, it was not stopping my L5 from slipping further forward on the S1 (it was 11 millimeters as of May 23). He stated I would never cure my low back pain and surgery is for those with instability. This proves that he was not receptive to me as that is my exact problem, which I explained to him that I did indeed have this issue and he did not acknowledge that. He asked me "why would you sterilize yourself?" in regards to me removing my fallopian tubes. This. Is. None. Of. His. Business. At this point, I knew this was not going to be a good, professional patient-provider relationship. He even went further and confirmed the note stating I have tattoos and he glanced at my ears and asked me about my stretched ear piercings. I explained to him what they were and he stated, "I just don't get it." to which I replied, "THAT is the beauty of it, YOU do not have to get it! Unfortunately, I have to work from home and need to end this appointment." And we ended it, I did not get my medicine nor the referrals I need to continue my treatment. Unfortunately, some people should not be doctors and this guy, he was definitely one of them."
"Dr Weisbrot has been my doctor for well over 30 years. He is available when you need him via text or phone call and takes the time to call you after hours if needed. I’m 70 years old and will see him for the remainder of my life or he retires whichever comes first. He’s thorough, takes the time to answer your questions, he’s caring and treats you like family. He’s genuine and the best."
