"After having lower back spasms, pain, shooting pain down the backside of my thigh and leg to my ankle and across my foot, my family physician suggested a muscle relaxer that was ineffective, then an MRI of my back/spine area. The MRI showed 2 bulging discs with one being herniated and pressing on a nerve. My family doctor suggested I see a Spine surgeon for consultation.
