Jeff Wyler Acura of Fairfield

"Jeff Wyler Acura service is untrustworthy and unsafe. They are dishonest, don't keep their word and refuse to address issues they caused or promised to deliver on. Service had my vehicle for several months to replace an 2016 MDX engine that failed due to a rod-bearing that snapped. (in consulting others part of the rod bearing failure issue....bearing go bad, so the rod snaps.) During they process the constantly changed stories and gave misinformation. After a completed job, which would have had an invoice of nearly $10K, I was returned a vehicle with 30% fuel indicated, and check engine lights on. We notice a broken lugnut wasn't replaced as well. I addressed these concerns with both the Service Advisor and GM. They both fell on deaf ears and would correct or satisfy the customer, unless I paid more money, (Keep in mind I am an owner of 7 Honda/Acura vehicles.) To make things worse after driving the vehicle for just a couple of weeks, I was hearing a sound. I took it to my personal certified mechanic. I alerted me that the truck was left way short on oil, which is a serious concern. Keep in mind again, they charged me for 6 quarts of oil. I was also noted that my front passenger wheel was loose and endanger of falling off. My wife or daughter could have been in serious harm. Not only was the one lugnut left broken, but 2 additional main studs were broke. It was noted it appeared the lugs were stripped, and probably just hammered on as not to have to spend time. Obviously now because of Acura's carelessness and neglect, I had to spend more money because of them. I still have to address the engine omissions issue they caused, while they blamed me for doing that. I'd never seen that before them having my vehicle for months. They also tried to charge me $69.95 for a new cabin filter they claimed was dirty. The existing was brand new. I had just replaced it myself for $15. In summary if you value honesty, quality and good customer service for what you pay; don't have your vehicle serviced or purchase a car from Jeff Wyler Acura!
