"Careful when choosing TVA as your primary financial institution. If they detect fraud on your account they will shut your card down almost immediately. I get that this sounds like a good thing until this happens when you're at a gas station on empty with your infant daughter and have to wait in an unfamiliar location for over 6 hours till you nearest relative could come and assist you. When card services was contacted (outsourced) and explained the situation to try to have the card reinstated for a short time the agents response is the following "we are dedicated to protecting our customers from fraud" when this is again explained to the agent and conveyed as an emergency they once again stated "we are dedicated to protecting our customers from fraud" and asked if a co-worker could come for assistance. Please choose a financial institution that would never put a potential fraud claim above the physical safety of a member and their families."
