"2 mos ago I drove my Mom an hour (country living) to her medicare wellness visit at UT Halls clinic. It's a fasted appt for labs. My poor old mother got so sick on the drive from being hungry that she vomited multiple times and was extremely dizzy. When we arrive they say "oh your appt was canceled". We had zero phone calls, zero text, zero voice-mail, zero email, ZERO notification. I asked if she could see another doctor.They said No. So I expressed my frustration. All though I didn't yell or curse at anyone...the receptionist LIED and noted that I had.So I call today to reschedule that appt... and they fired her!!!! They fired this old woman from her doctor because her care taker expressed frustration.When i spoke to the supervisor today she tells me, we'll we tried to make it right but since you yelled and cursed we can no longer see her. I asked how they tried to make it right then lied straight to me saying she could have seen another doctor. I asked that question the day of incident and they said no. She then lied and said well we called but there was no answer. It's 2024...every single phone has voice-mail. I worked as a nurse for years, and this experience is a great example of why I do not work in heslthcare anymore. They absolutely do not care about patients. Only themselves and money. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT go here, they have zero respect for human life and the medical needs of my 75 year old mother. Shameful. I am filing a formal complaint with UT and Tennessee Medical Board. Find yourself a private clinic, you'll have better luck at finding clinicians who actually care about their parltients. Disgusting, atrocious, unacceptable behavior of lying and disregarding the patients needs."

"Horrible front staff. Whoever books appointments for Lindsey should be fired. She talked to my mother horribly. Our whole family was going to start going back to Lindsey, but when my mom tried to make an appointment, they told her it would be June. My mom asked if she could see another provider there quicker just because she needs to be seen for medicine refills quicker than 2 months- - but apparently that’s “frowned upon” and Lindsey won’t ever see her again if she does that. I’ve been to many medical groups, and have never heard of that. Must be new or something the receptionist just came up with. Also went to Lindsey years back and I would see other people often if she couldn’t see me…? So? No wonder the low rating. Lindsey is great but it’s not worth dealing with bad receptionists."

"Scheduled an appointment on site and filled out all of the proper forms, beforehand. Showed up for an appointment and told insurance was invalid. Confirmed while standing with the rude receptionists that my insurance was valid. Then refused service because my appointment was now 20 minutes past due. Terrible, Terrible service. Go anywhere but here!"

"I have been going to UT Family Physicians in Halls and I have not ever received such great care in my life! Danielle Perkins, NP is wonderful and really listens and cares. Her Nurse Tony is always so positive and smiling. And Betsy and the ladies at the front desk are always so kind and helpful. I highly recommend if you need a Primary Care Physician you give them a call!"
