My husband is a Fire Chief, and I was a Trauma nurse at Vanderbilt for 20 yrs and Never in my time as a nurse have I ever disrespected a patient the way she did me on my visit. She was unprofessional, disrespectful, never touched me. I was called before my apt an asked to come in early because she was leaving which I was able to do, I arrived and.Debra Moore's nurse acted like we were wasting her time, then when Moore came in she acted the same way. Said she would have sent me to the ER any way based on my symptoms even without any examination. Walked myself and my husband to the door scolding us as we left!!! I have been in the medical field for 25 yrs and I am devastated by what it has become! God help us all who need Drs who actually have a CALLING to practice medicine and a desire and love for people! So sad."

"I will give Debra Moore 1 star because she is kind, compassionate, and gentle. However I do not feel heard or cared for by this NURSE PRACTITIONER. I do not like her bedside manner. She wants to get you in and out as fast as possible. My concerns are dismissed and ignored by Ms. Moore. I have never felt more unheard/ignored by a health care provider before. She does not take health concerns seriously. I absolutely will not be going back and am currently in the process of finding a new Gastroenterolgist."

"She actively listens which is rare for providers today. She thanked me for my input, which makes me feel valued, and again, is very rare for providers today. She made me feel very comfortable and she validated my concerns with my body, which is not heard of today among providers. I didn’t feel rushed and I felt very taken care of."
