Welcome to the Fannin County Probate Court, located at 400 West Main Street, Suite 204, Blue Ridge, Georgia 30513. Under the leadership of Chief Judge R. Scott Kiker and Chief Clerk Jennifer Falls, our court is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the integrity of our legal processes.

Our court handles a variety of matters, including misdemeanor traffic violations, game and fish violations, and the issuance of marriage licenses and Georgia Weapons Carry Licenses. We also maintain vital records for Fannin County, such as birth and death certificates, which can be obtained in person or by mail.

For those with scheduled court appearances, please note that any notices of conflict or requests for continuance must be filed by 5:00 pm on the Monday before your appearance date. Our court is a court of record, and all documents are permanently available to the public, except where prohibited by law.

Marriage licenses can be applied for online, with a follow-up visit to our office required within two weeks. Fees for marriage licenses vary depending on pre-marriage counseling certification. Additionally, we offer certified copies of marriage licenses for a nominal fee.

For information on obtaining Georgia Weapons Carry Licenses, applications can be submitted online, with a required visit to our office to complete the process. Please adhere to the directions provided in the online application.
