Our state-of-the-art terminal is designed to efficiently handle the delivery and transfer of coal via both rail and truck, ensuring seamless operations and maximum capacity utilization. With a robust annual capacity of 20 million tons and a loading rate of 5,000 tons per hour, we are equipped to meet the demands of the industry with ease.

The Mt. Vernon Transfer Terminal features extensive ground storage capabilities, accommodating up to 1 million tons of coal. Our facility is adept at receiving and unloading 105-car unit trains through the Evansville Western Railway (EVWR), which offers direct connections to major Class I railroads including CSX, Norfolk Southern, and BNSF. This connectivity allows for flexible transportation options, whether transferring coal to ground storage or directly loading onto barges for further distribution.

Our wholly-owned Sitran Terminal, located at milepost 817.5 on the Ohio River, enhances our transloading capabilities. Commissioned in April 2012, this facility can receive up to 150-car train sets and boasts advanced coal blending capabilities. With a throughput capacity exceeding 20 million tons per year, the Sitran Terminal complements our operations by providing additional storage and handling solutions.
