"I brought my older Arctic Cat in for repairs as it quit working. I had let it sit in between hunting. They told me that I needed to replace my carburetor. Since it was extremely costly to buy a factory replacement from them, I bought a new after market carb made specifically for it. They said no guarantees and I trusted the guy to put it in correctly. I live out of state & use it to hunt. I had it picked up by a relative and put in storage. Hunting season now- I just found out that you can’t give it any throttle or it dies & according to the man that picked it up... it never really did anything but start. I paid to have it fixed. I was told by Arctic Cat that they did all they could do for it. I wonder if my old carburetor was just fine & only needed an adjustment now. Waisted time and money. A year later I sold it to a young man who worked on it, adjusted some things, & it works great. Why couldn’t Arctic Cat do that for me?"
