"Waste of time and energy. I went in probably two or three times a week for a couple of months when I was trying to find a home and he NEVER remembered who I was or what I was looking for. He took me to a place once that was so dirty and damaged (holes in the wall, filthy carpet, broken fence) and then led me on about two different properties for weeks that both ended up falling through. I just gave up. Poor customer service, super disorganized- I tried so hard to find something through Portage Real Estate. I would recommend looking elsewhere."

"Tried to get a place with my boyfriend through him. I have never dealt with anyone so incompetent in my life. I'm a certified leasing agent and how he conducts himself is completely unprofessional. He has my mom working for him for free and expects to take food from her and me for nothing."

"Unfortunately, doing business with Leo Hatch is difficult. I paid him money for a credit check, and my credit is pretty good. Yet he for the sake of his own life couldn't get a key to show me the property that I paid for the credit check for. Evey time I call, or go into his business, he would forget who i am, and he has my money!. After about 5 failed attempts to get a property through him, I had contacted a landlord directly without using Leo as a middle man, and moved in headache free. If you're a landlord, and looking to move properties quickly to avoid the financial liability of vacancy, I suggest using an alternative property management company. Portage Real Estate and Leo Hatch do not deliver the quality service to the community that you would expect."

Also had very poor customer service, we were trying to get info for rentals in the office and he started helping a gal who came in after us, answering all sorts of questions for her and kind put us on the back burner so too speak..."

Took my money for a credit check and wouldn't refund it after them losing my stuff. I tried giving them a 2nd chance and they blew that away quickly when they gave an apartment I was putting money down for to someone else with less money. SMH!! I decided to go somewhere else and glad I did. I was treated like a human being and found me a great place to live. RUN!!!"
