"My husband and I went there for the Serb Fest to pick up the delicious food. You can also choose to eat inside in the air conditioning or outside under the tent at a table and chairs. We were told to go early on Saturday the second day of the festival. Due to them selling out of the lamb quickly early on the first day of the fest, and if you have had it you know why. The food is so good. They have delicious desserts and pastries. Yummy grilled items being cooked fresh outside. The fest started at noon and we arrived at 2pm, the parking was great $2 to park. But the line for lamb was not. We went inside and got our strudel and palachinki which are amazing. And then had to wait in line outside on the blacktop in 90+ degree temps, to pick up the lamb. The window for picking up the meat by the pound is outside. Which is fine BUT that's my only major complaint, there's no shade if the line is long, because the canopy they have up is not that big, another one of similar size needs to be added. And you can end up standing in the line in the sun, for 20+ minutes waiting. Also while waiting in line, they can run out of meat, at which point I'm assuming and I could be wrong but you'd either have to buy something else with your prepaid tickets, that you purchased inside the building, or get them to refund your money, which is not cheap. The price for the lamb, was $42 for 2 lbs., and it was a minimum of 2 lbs. (So you go inside, buy your tickets, $1 per ticket) You then go outside to get in line for the meat by the pound, or grilled items, the dinners, desserts and drinks are picked up inside. That's my other issue, there's nowhere outside to purchase any drinks. So at that point you have to go back inside, I'd consider setting up a table for bottles of water and maybe cans of pop, but that's just my opinion. None of this will stop me from going again every year, because the food is that good and the music entertainment if you're able to stay and enjoy is great."
"Serb fest. Great food, good prices, friendly people."
"I was there for a friend's funeral. The church is very beautiful all the walls are hand painted and there are 3 large chandeliers."
"Love the large rear social center, huge dance floor, even some space in rear to practice dance steps. Ballroom themed dancing on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 10:30 for $10, includes earlier ballroom dance lesson from 7 to 7:30, then can practice those steps at times over next 3 hours. Only negative: cash bar only but drinks reasonably priced."
