"Great trail for biking, walking or running. The entrance has a bike pump and bike tools. The paving along the trail is in great condition in this area."
"Fairly well maintained paved trail visited by cyclists, dog walkers, joggers, and regular folks like us. It's long and connects to a number of other trails the further north you go. Parking isn't super generous at the Summit Street trail Head so you can meet the trail elsewhere or park closer to Crown Point square and take the bike lane in."
"I came when it was snowed the day before. So happy to see that the trails were mostly clean. But when you get to Merrillville they do NOT clean there trail."
