"Horrible pharmacy! Very cold! I mentioned a prescription I was picking up was for my 19 month old son. They never offered to flavor the medicine for me when I picked it up. (Seems like common courtesy to me especially since it was for a child.) I gave my son 2 doses the following day and both times he threw it up. I called the pharmacy asking if they could flavor it even though I had given him the doses. The pharmacist said very coldly, "No, we can not do that at this time." I asked why and she said because it had left the facility. I told her that in the future they should be a little more considerate of their customers because now I have medicine that my son can not keep down, even with juice etc. She said they had been short staffed and some other excuses, but everywhere is short staffed right now, including where I work. I still make a point to be considerate and courteous of my customers. I hope none of them have children they have to give medicine to and have to worry about how to get them to take it so they can get better."
"The pharmacy is utterly incompetent. The rest of the store might be okay, but I would avoid the pharmacy at all costs. I went to get a simple shingles shot. They told me that my insurance, Cigna would not pay for it. I called Cigna who said they WOULD pay for it. Cigna even called them to explain to them how to process the claim. Walgreens still claimed Cigna would not pay for it! Cigna told me, once agin, they would, but that Walgreens did not know how to process the claim and that I should try going to a different pharmacy. This pharamcy does not know what they're doing, even when Cigna spent 20 minutes on the phone with them explaining how to process the claim, they still couldn't figure it out. Do you want to trust this pharmacy?"
