"Don't take your car to this shop for any repairs. Had my car here to change the lower control arm on the drivers side, the ball joints were squeaking. On June 3rd 2024 the wheel came of the car while driving in Oak Lawn. I have reached out to the owner Gary, however he has been of no help. Fortunately we were not on the expressway this could have been much worse. Just so you know I am. not just trying to give them a bad review, a few years ago I gave them a 5 star review at the time, but now because of the way this was handled, I want to caution others about the work performed at this shop in my opinion very sloppy and careless."
"This is a full service shop that does mechanical, body and paint work at a fair price. Family owned since 1969. They stand behind their work and definitely try to keep their customers happy. No matter if you live in Northwest Indiana, in the south suburbs of Chicago or in the Chicago area I would highly recommend them. Definitely a 5β shop"
"Terrible place to get your car done they left trim off bad paint job and space. Do not waist your time or money with this place there to old for new cars"
"When I saw the car the first time, I was in disbelief that it looked the same as it did when I brought it a week ago. The second time, it looks better but you can still see the damage. I have to mention, I feel as though the car was lowered and that is not good. The reason I say this is because the same speed bumps on my block that I used to go over with no problem, are now scraping the bottom of the car. I can't have the bottom of the car scraping the streets. Also, the car is way louder than it has ever been. What could they have done to make the car so loud? I guess because the car is old and has rust, they didn't want to do a thorough job. That's not how the mechanic/body shop business is supposed to work. On second look at the car, which I only drove from the shop to my home, there is a huge something hanging from the bottom of my car and some coils look as though they have been cut. Of course, the car was not like that when it arrived at the shop. These people have destroyed my vehicle and I do not recommend anyone go there. This must be why the man was telling me, I would get $500 for the car, because he was destroying it and that's all it would be worth. Thanks!"
"I'm shocked this place got 5 stars. I took my Grandma's car there during the pandemic. We were forced to go there because of their shoddy record keeping and they could only tell us what battery they put in the car previously by physically looking at it. (Disorganized). They claimed to be super busy but I get there and 4 dudes are sitting around no one is working. (Lazy) Trump sign proudly displayed, not a mask in sight. They come out to check the battery then the man leans over my grandma who has a severe respiratory condition without a mask on. (Risky) We decided to take our business elsewhere where we discovered the battery they put in previously was the wrong one and they had modified the battery cover to force it to fit. (Damaged car ) Now the cover has extra holes in it (cosmetic but annoying). I will never let a family member spend a dime in this place. Maybe they took advantage of her previously because she is very old but I cannot support this business."
