"Not happy with this storage company. 4 months after signing a contract and leaving 2 storage units full, I received notice that my rates were going up at the end of the month. I'm a single woman living out of state and there is no way I could have come back and emptied it before the end of the month. On top of that the climate controlled space smelled like mold. I found the main gate open one time and they told me it was broken but it wasn't fixed for a month so all of my things were not protected that month which also happened to be the month they raised my rates! So they raised my rates despite not giving me full security. The first day I arrived it took almost an hour to get in since the gate code they gave me didn't work and I had to sit in the parking lot trying to find someone on the phone to let me in. Then, when I drove to my unit the light across from the unit was burnt out so I had to unload my car in the dark. Lastly, the slide lock was so old and rusted that the next time I came to get into the unit I couldn't open it and luckily someone was in the office and was able to help. It was rare someone was in the office as I was told multiple times they are short staffed. I wasn't able to get into that unit on my own and was out of state so the option of having them cut my lock off, put a new slide mechanism on and replace my lock with one of their locks while I wasn't there was not a comfortable one for me. All in all a very distasteful experience that left me working about my things for many months. I was so happy to finally move into my new house and be done with this place. Old storage units are old in many ways. Find a newer facility. The location is the only thing that was good about this place."

"Would give zero stars if I could. I was looking into renting a storage unit in the area and went to their site and wanted to get to the contract page to read it before signing and agreeing on this place. Before I even finished reading the contract (Before I signed it) I got an email that I was charged over $200 and got my unit number that I didn't ask for. I instantly called them and explained I wanted to see the contract and that there was no warning on the site that I would be charged and receive the unit BEFORE signing. The woman I spoke to was very nice and said she'd get this taken care of. The next day she called back saying I should receive the refund in the next few business days and was emailed a receipt that it was cancelled. I am writing this on 4/11 because all these weeks later my card didn't actually get refunded. Called the office on 4/10, spoke to someone and said the manager would call me back but never did. Called again on 4/11 and was told I'd get a call back. They claim that I was refunded on 3/16, but that makes zero sense because the card charge didn't even hit my account until 3/17. They also said to "call my bank about the refund." I told them it wasn't a bank account, please verify the card that was refunded and they told me they could not see what card was refunded. They are scammers. I had to dispute this on my card a month later. Would never recommend this place."
