"This is my favorite hotel in the area. Definitely the best bang for your buck compared to the other local options. Clean, spacious, updated, great service. I love that the rooms are studios with kitchens. It’s an awesome perk. Breakfast is also superior to others."

"This is my third time staying here, all around great service. From front desk to management, this hotel has really changed for the better. Girl at the front desk was so kind and understanding and let me check out later than scheduled. The suite was fantastic, too. Definitely will be back here if need be. Alexandra was also fantastic in the morning. Edit -- upon arriving home, I found several bed bug bites on my legs. I informed the hotel and am waiting on a call from the manager."

"When we walked in we were very excited to go check into our room only to be greeted by a very uninviting front desk staff, and once we were checked into the room and all settled in and ready for bed we ended up finding bedbugs infested inside the beds. We had to leave and end up finding another hotel. Definitely will not be staying here again.The owner finally responded a month later and lied about the bed bugs. He said that pest control came and found no bed bugs which is clearly a lie. We took pictures and showed to the front desk. There were numerous bugs crawling on bed. I am not the type to leave a bad review, but not only were there bugs the owner is a liar. I would strongly suggest to find another hotel."

"We got married in Hampton earlier this month and booked our wedding block at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Clinton. We chose this location because 1) of its close proximity to our venue (10-15 minutes), 2) it had the largest room block availability (20 rooms) in the area, and 3) it included transportation for our wedding guests. The transportation was via school buses which were reserved and managed by the hotel. The first roundtrip was free and subsequent trips were a small fee compared to private shuttle services. The hotel staff and amenities were great. The Director of Sales, Sri, was very helpful in setting up the block and answering our questions, and the the front desk was kind enough to hand out welcome bags that we provided to each of our guests. We were allowed to use the hotel lobby and patio to rehearse and hang out after the wedding, and all our guests could enjoy complimentary breakfast. The rooms all had kitchenettes with full-size fridges. We stayed in a suite that included a small living room area. I deducted one star because the room had a strange odor that we couldn't get rid of. I also wish we could have added more rooms to our block because we far exceeded the maximum rooms allowable. Overall, we and our guests had a pleasant stay here."

"We stayed over two nights in September. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk, and the breakfast room were fantastic, very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay, and we do recommend highly. Bravo!!"
