"2hr wait to receive my rental. Car was scratched and smelled of smoke. Service was ridiculous with how slow things took to receive vehicle even after booking online. Would not recommend renting from location as not properly being managed. Several service opportunities needed before I would revisit."
"BEWARE!!! I returned my rental Saturday (few hours early) with more gas in the tank than when I received it. The line was wrapped around the store. I was told by the agent I didn’t need to wait and I’ll receive a receipt via email. Monday I receive a voicemail stating my rental is outstanding. It’s now Wednesday and not only has the issue not been resolved I have added charges on my card for gas. The phone just rings at the location regardless what time I call and the customer service line has been a minimum of 30 minute holds before you speak with a human. I did make it to 1 human customer service rep who was able to determine the rental was never closed out and further could not explain the added gas charges. I was told this would be fixed and I would receive an email confirming within the next 15minutes… it’s now 2days later, additional charges to my card yesterday and I still can get no one on the phone."
"I came in to rent a Tesla on July 3rd, 2024. Tim took care of me. I had nothing less than a top notch experience. I got the car I wanted, which was clean, and charged to about 50%. Tim was polite, professional, and courteous to me, and everyone else I saw him interact with. Tim and his co-worker were dealing with rude, obnoxious, "Me! Me! Me!" type customers, but remained polite and professional. Maybe the negative reviews you read here are from Rude customers who didn't get treated like they were the only people trying to rent a car. One customer was furious that they would not rent a car to her, because her debit card didn't have enough funds available. She acted like Hertz was to blame for her not having enough money in her account. I'm sure she would give a bad review. When you come here looking to rent a car, have the right card (Credit Card, or Debit Card that has a chip in it), and act like a reasonable person, and you'll more than likely have a good experience. **UPDATE** 4 weeks into my rental, and I could not ask for a better experience. All I need to do is make sure I maintain the terms of my agreement, and make sure my Card has sufficient funds available, and the rental gets extended seamlessly. The longer this goes on, the more I question some of the negative reviews about this location."
"I've rented from other Hertz facilities and had pleasant experiences, but never again especially if it's this location. Waited 45 minutes in a line of 3 with 2 of the most incompetent people I've come across. The lady at the counter was a very rude person and just kept saying how they are always busy there, she then said that she was having issues running my credit card and come to find out it had charged 2x. I ended up getting an electric car that I had not even requested and it was at a 20 percent charge so I couldn't drive too far had to pay to get it quick charged right after. Never again, there's plenty of car rentals out there and I'm sure they would appreciate the business more if they have it and better customers service."
