"A hideaway trail you would never be aware of as a non-hiking person. Local hikers and trail seekers may be aware of this trail; but many I assume are NOT aware of the place because you can't see the parking lot nor the trail unless you actually pull your car into the entrance of Florence Kuipers Park. The trail starts obviously at the parking lot and goes under the train tracks through a tressel briefly, than it's a slight but continuous incline until you get on top of the ridge. From the parking lot and start of the trail to the top of the ridge is roughly a half-mile walk. From the ridge top to the end of the trail is probably another half mile. I cannot confirm the distance from the top of the ridge to the end of the trail, because I never finished the trail. I'm only going by what hikers on that trail told me."
