"Would give it 0 stars if I could. Made a reservation at my closest U-Haul location, but received a notice 2 days before I had to pick up the truck that I needed to go to a different location several more miles away. Normally wouldn’t complain about that, but when the customer pays per mile, that’s a problem. When I got to the location, the employee didn’t even acknowledge me at first. Just got up from the desk, stared at me, and turned around and walked away. When they got back, they were really no help at all. Literally no eye contact and got verbally annoyed when I asked them to repeat something for me. Also didn’t show me where the truck was, I had to go find it and get it myself. Truck was not clean at all and had broken parts of the interior. Was told the gas tank was full and that I had to return it 100% full (marked that way on the paper they give you and have sign). However, after I had left, I realized the tank was only 3/4 full. This trip ended up costing me about $100 just in gas to fill back up to 100% full. Engine light came on in the truck when I was driving. Called roadside assistance and they said not to worry about it if the car was driving okay. When I went to return the truck (during business hours), I waited in the vehicle at the drop off point for the employee to come out to me, which is what the sign said to do. After about 10 minutes, I look around and see the same employee who had given me the truck the day before sitting at the desk, completely unbothered that I’m there waiting (there was nobody else in the store at the time). I then walk in to the shop, and without even looking up at me from whatever non-work related thing they were doing, they mumble to just leave the key and they’ll email me a receipt later. I go to hand them the key, and again without even looking up and acknowledging me, they say, “just give me the key and you’ll be emailed your receipt later.” I go to hand them the key, and with their head still down, they said, “don’t hand it to me, just leave it in the desk.” At this point, I’m so disappointed with my service, that I just place the key down and walk out. What a horrible experience."

"Horrible experience. I wish I could give this place zero stars. After they closed out my first dispute about this without even contacting me, I had to rely on social media to FINALLY get someone to respond to me. I picked up a truck from this location with 1/4 - 3/8 filled. I drove 70 miles , filled it back to that level and received a bill for $90 of extra gas and them stating it was at 1/8 filled. Even after I provided receipts of the gas I put in, they refused to refund my money. STAY AWAY AND AVOID. I will NEVER use U-Haul again for ANYTHING. EVER. How can there be less gas in the truck than I started with if I put the proper gas in the truck?? They are untrustworthy liars. DO NOT EVER USE U-HAUL. Penske, Home Depot are much better options if you need to rent a van or truck."
"My in-person experience at this location was atrocious with Ashley H. She remained engaged on her Bluetooth cell phone conversation for the entirety of my visit with no eye contact with the customer (me). She almost refused to offer receipt confirmation of my transaction. After asking for it twice, she finally agreed to get up out of her seat to check-in my rented Uhaul truck. Upon jumping in the vehicle, she haphazardly blurted that something was in the truck (i.e., my fiancé’s singular blanket). I said that I could retrieve it. As I’m latching onto the sides of the truck to enter, she starts the motor of truck (as I’m entering the back), which seems dangerously rocky (from the back of shaky truck). When she finally checked in my vehicle and offered a printed receipt, I was charged inaccurately. At several points of conversation, I had to continually ask if she was speaking to me or the cell phone conversation participant. She continued to have casual conversation with a friend (via Bluetooth) for our entire interaction. I am hard of hearing, which makes horrible customer service experiences even worse to manage. I asked to speak with a manager. The experience continued to deteriorate from there, and I finally had to contact the corporate phone number. Mrs. De La Cruz (from corporate customer service) was warm hearted and wonderful, though."
"The lot where the trucks are parked was extremely organized. The young lady that helped me that day was very professional and polite. She knew exactly how to run that business! In and out very quick. I own two businesses, and to have an employee like that is a major asset!"
