Parts: that will be $76 Me: ok here's my card Parts: just so you know there's a 3% surcharge for credit card purchases Me: oh ok let me check my wallet... oh cool I have cash Parts: just so you know our cash register is down so you won't get change, or you can pay with credit card! This was at 9am on a Saturday! Looks like the philosophy of the car sales department of adding arbitrary markups on top of prices seeped over into the parts department as well."
