Our latest initiative, the "Being Present Matters" public service campaign, highlights the critical issue of chronic absenteeism by representing the 15 million students in the U.S. who miss school regularly. This campaign underscores the importance of being present and engaged in the educational journey.

CIS site coordinators play a vital role in bridging gaps for students by connecting them with essential resources. Whether it's addressing transportation issues, mental or physical health challenges, access to clean clothes, or food insecurity, our coordinators work closely with school administrators, families, and community partners to remove barriers to attendance and success.

With a presence in schools nationwide, CIS collaborates with parents, educators, and community-based organizations to implement our integrated student supports model. This approach has proven effective, with 99% of our students attending school prepared and ready to learn.
