Hilton Garden Inn Brunswick

"Traveling for a vacation and stopped here for the evening. My father, a Hilton Honors Member, reserved our room in advance. We reserved a two queen bed room. Upon arrival, the front desk associate, Christina, checked us in and when we opened our room door we noticed it was a king room. Back at the front desk, Christina informed us there was nothing she could do, the hotel was full. Ultimately we did have to leave and go to another hotel. Christina did not care that we had to leave or the trouble she caused us, what happened is that the hotel was filing up for the night, she started to go through the reservations and look at the party size for each reserved room. I don't doubt that she came across my dad's reservation for our room and assumed it was just him traveling himself and switched our room to a king bed room rather than the two queens that we reserved. Even while we were standing at the desk, we watched her call the reservations for that evening trying to switch their rooms. My question is this, why didn't she call us? We received no contact from this hotel about this change Christina made before our arrival. The service we received the evening of July 11th was simply unacceptable, we will also be contacting higher management regarding this issue and reporting Christina for her unprofessional behavior. I ask that you consider visiting one of the hotels (LaQuinta, Hampton, or Best Western) across the street before choosing to stay here. Their only concern here is commission they receive."

"What a great little spot for a stop off between NJ and Southwest Florida. It’s got a great location, right off 95, was clean, dog friendly, and has a restaurant/bar. Staff was friendly and can’t think of anything that could’ve been better for a one night stay."

"We stayed at this location for my God son's graduation and reserved a small conference room for his graduation party. We were greeted by a friendly front desk clerk who got my best friend and I checked in pretty quickly. She also gave recommendations on places to eat if we didn't want to order from the restaurant. This location shares with the Home 2 suites as well. My room was nice and clean. The first night we ordered from the restaurant, our server was polite. Their fitness center didn't have a lot of equipment, but I made do, sometimes you just have to improvise with dumbbells and cables. They also have a complimentary laundry room. It's inside the fitness center, 2 washers & 2 dryers. Saturday morning the staff was already inside the conference room setting up for the party. We were able to go in and set up decorations. The same gentleman that was our server the first night was our attendant for the party. The food was hot. Every first desk clerk I encountered was professional and helpful. The night of the graduation, they were extremely busy checking in families who all came to the area to attend but made sure to acknowledge everyone walking through the door. They even allowed us to use the restaurant space to eat food we ordered after it was closed. My God kids and their cousins enjoyed the pool. Overall the hotel and stay was extremely pleasant."

"I just wanted to say in this review that the hotel was what I thought it should be. Decently, clean, comfortable, had a nice TV, nice bathroom. Beds were not super comfortable, but were sufficient. But I did want to give special attention was the hospitality of Alanda and Terry from the food service staff. I had just planned on coming down and drinking coffee and sitting there quietly doing some reading. Terry came out and offered to cook me whatever eggs I wanted and made sure I had plenty to eat from the breakfast buffet. The eggs were fantastic. When I tried to tip him, he just said “that’s what we do“, and would not accept the tip. Alanda, never made me feel rushed and kept bringing me coffee and water throughout the morning. This type of just genuine goodness and hospitality seems to be lacking in our world. May Jehovah bless these two."

"Hilton Garden Inn Brunswick exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The guest services team welcomed me with huge smiles and accommodated my hectic work schedule by allowing an early check-in. The grounds were impeccably clean with zero visible trash, showing their commitment to maintaining a pristine environment. The lobby and bar were inviting, clean, and well-lit, creating a pleasant atmosphere. My room was well-stocked with towels, toiletries, and all the comforts I needed on the road, including a fridge, microwave, and plenty of coffee. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brunswick."
