"Have ordered multiple cakes from here throughout the years….but quality is decreasing while prices are increasing. I ordered a chocolate drip cake 24 hours prior to needing it, which was nice that they accommodated. However, I requested a lavender buttercream rose border and received 4 heavily saturated deep purple roses combined with a shell border, which design wise made no sense. The dye literally ruined the taste of the cake, which I’ve never experienced with them before, not even with their fondant cakes. Then, they “charge an extra $10 for the drip”, which was extremely thin and was essentially a chocolate shell instead of like their chocolate triangles…disappointed to say the least….would have preferred them decline the order instead of producing what I received. In addition, the young lady who took the order asked someone else about the price and told me “I’m not sure of the exact price but I guarantee it won’t be more than $30”. I received a call the next day at 8:15am and was told it would be “$33.99”. $4 isn’t much but proper training is. So I can imagine how many people are being misquoted prices…. Also, they are now charging credit card fees."
"I don’t know what happened to this bakery, but ever since the older decorator left this place went down the drain! It’s a shame, I’ve been coming here over a decade and had beautiful custom cakes , the decorators are just HORRIBLE , I couldn’t even get a simple bow on my granddaughter’s birthday cake there were errors that were very visible. Every cake that I have bought was well over 200 bucks , I will not be investing anymore money here . Get rid of those kids , they are not ready !"
"I have been a steady customer for about 8 years and buy about 2-3 cakes a year, at least two of them being custom cake orders. I also buy smaller ready made items throughout the year. I have always been super impressed with the cleanliness of the store, the great customer service, and have had wonderful outcomes with cakes both in taste and decor. I purchased a $240 custom cake for my son’s birthday - a two tier cake one 8 inch chocolate chip pound cake atop a 10 inch vanilla pound cake. All smooth sailing the entire process. I picked the cake up it was decorated just as I had asked. Upon cutting into the chocolate chip cake I noticed the cake was darker but thought nothing of it due to the chocolate pieces however, the cake crumbled so much so you couldn’t eat it with a fork and needed a spoon, the cake had a very dry texture, and overall tasted over-baked/burnt. 3-5 year olds pushed it away honestly and I ended up throwing the entire top layer in the trash. The bottom layer was completely fine. But due to this issue I didn’t have enough cake for all the birthdays guests. I called the bakery after the weekend finished, very politely, and had a great exchange with a Naomi who really listened to my concerns and was apologetic for the issue. She put me on a brief hold to speak with the owner who offered a store credit - I agreed to a store credit because like I said I frequent this bakery. The owner felt a $20 credit was comparable for the cake that was inedible and stated that “the bottom was fine”. I did not expect a full refund whatsoever that would be an unfair ask, but I really felt disregarded and felt a 25-30% refund/credit would be reasonable. Truthfully I am very disappointed and feel that maybe this place has outgrown the “TLC” and appreciation for returning customers that I once felt it had."
"Friendly atmosphere, respectful people and reasonable prices. Products are delicious and inviting! I bought my girls some Sesame Street cup cakes and they gobbled them up! Mine and my children’s compliments to the bakers!"
"This bakery really went above and beyond to accommodate my last minute order of red velvet cupcakes for my niece’s birthday. The service was excellent, the cupcakes were delicious. Everyone at the party was saying how good they tasted."
