"Customer service was A1!!!! I was running late and called to see if she could stay open until I got there and she did. Which was very nice of her. Not to mention her sweets are REALLY good. I got the banana pudding and strawberry cheesecake. And for the icing on top she takes food stamps!! Literally can’t beat that. Give this black women owned bakery a try."

"My mother had the displeasure of meeting Ms. Patricia for an order for my shower. She may call herself Patricia with the treats but we would never know. We never recieved our order. We choose Patricia because she was familiar to my cousin. We figured why not, she gave my cousin business why not extend the favor & give patronage to another black owed business. It took us two visits to finally catch up with Ms. Patricia. She is not always there during her posted business days/hours. Once we did meet Ms. Patricia, she seemed to be uninterested from the start. When my mother inquired about the designs she could do on cake pops & rice Krispy treats she was short & really didn't engage. She replied in one word responses & was stand offish. It wasn't until my mother said she would pay in full the same day that she even began showing good customer service. Once the orders were placed and she received the payments then she finally began "holding a conversation". The worst part about all of this is we placed our order 3wks before the shower only for her to call my mother the week of the shower to say she couldn't do the orders & when will we come get our money. I was shocked. Who cancels on someone four days before the baby shower after having the order for 3wks. Nevermind the fact that she was very defensive when she called. My only assumption is that she figured we would get rude since she canceled so short notice but why waste our energy when we needed to find another bakery asap. Not everyone is going to match disrespect with disrespect. She took an additional 2 days to be available for us to retrieve our money back. I will never use her again and seriously hope she does better. Her cakes look beautiful on her page but I wouldn't risk ordering from her again. I can look pass the shortness; maybe you were having a bad day. I can look pass the disinterest, again maybe it was a bad day. However being standoffish, showing disinterest, then being happy about a sell stating you can do the order just to cancel 4 days before is absurd. Screw me once shame on you, but your not getting the opportunity to screw me over again. Good luck with your business. Update: I can't respond to your reply so I will update here. No I wasn't there I was on the phone while she was speaking with u. She hung up because I told her to leave and not place the order due to your demeanor, but she still gave you a try. She was picking the order up 2 days before because you stated that was your availability, you wouldn't even be there we had to pick it up from your husband, who wasnt going to wait for her to get there he was going to leave. You canceled on monday when she was picking up on that thursday which is worst! That was literally 3 days before pickup. She didn't hang up on you the call dropped & then you hung up because she did say she didn't know a Patricia. You called her phone saying this is Patricia as if you were someone she knew & not a business. She asked Patricia who. Who doesn't say hi I'm calling regarding your order for Patricia with the treats. Your upset because your name didn't register to her? You called her monday to cancel, you wasn't available until wednesday for her to get a refund & again the shower was saturday. You knew you were pregnant when you took the order, why take the order? Why allow 2 & 1/2 weeks to go by before you cancelled for whatever your reasoning was? You just stated anything could happen but nothing happened you stated you couldn't do it & again 3 days before pickup. My issue is that you didn't give us enough time to even find someone else to cover the treats for my baby shower. How would you feel if someone did that to you? It's as if you do not care nor respect your customer's time or money. As I stated it is okay I will not go to you because of this interaction. I never discouraged others from going & I gave your work a compliment, but of course you by passed that to say I dont know what I was talking about. Congratulations on your pregnancy and as I stated above I wish your business the best of luck."
"I recently ordered treats for my daughters birthday and prom form Patrice. The order total 530$. She mixed the dates up and tried to blame me, like I don’t know when my daughter’s prom and birthday is! That was the 2nd time she mixed up something and tried to blame the customer. The first time was when my niece ordered a birthday cake from her and Patrice wrote the wrong phone number and said that was the phone number that was given to her! Like ppl don’t know their own phone number! She is very unprofessional! I was doing my part in trying to give black businesses some business but black business don’t care about the black customers! They are very rude and unprofessional often. The last draw that made me say I am not going back is when I order treats that was 298 I gave her a 50% deposit which is a lot! The ordered got canceled the same day ( within a hour or 2). It took her 7 days to give a refund! I paid with card she gave the refund in cash and not even a full refund! She kept 20% talking about it’s for her gas to go to the bank and get the money out. Like what? The has no policy up, she just threw up a no refund sign! Bottom line is I will never return to her again and will advise against anyone else buying from because she is rude, unprofessional, and a scam! I have never heard of a business keeping 20% for a order that got cancelled the same day and that no product or energy was used on it! I try to do my part and support small black owned businesses. Never again I will go to her or refer her to anyone! Once always try to support black business but why when the black business doesn’t give af about the black customer! They treats was good but you customer service sucks so that’s why I would suggest to people not to support you! I could’ve have easily went to the non black bakeries that I normally go to, they don’t ever give me a problem and my order is always correct with no attitudes. You made up a policy “ I had to go the bank to get your refund and I need my gas money back”! I have never heard of that! Especially when I paid you with a card and not cash! Just ghetto! Patrice definitely need customer service classes. I will not be returning once and I suggest no else go either! Have a blessed day!"
