"There is NO AC in rooms. Not good for a patient with COPD. Terrible crack in sidewalk that we could not push wheelchair over. Cannot recommend facilty."
"I wanted to say the your CNA Tammy has been outstanding. She's always so kind and attentive to my Mom and others. She's a hard worker and truly cares about the residents and it shows."
"All of these places in this area are short staffed and underpaid. This place was better then Bria but it's still bad. I visited many times and many times my Mom was soaking wet. Only 1 bath in over a month No need to complain because the administrator does nothing."
"Her Nurse Kia was extremely nice, smiling and talked very gentle to my mom. She was genuinely concerned about giving her insulin so it wouldn’t cause her any pain. Sweet lady."
"0 stars. Please don’t EVER send a loved one here. My mom was sent here after being in rehab from a stroke and heart attack. Her meds had to be at Cedar Ridge before transport was arranged so when we had the go ahead that meds arrived, we arranged transport there. Upon arrival my family witnessed a bed collapse with a person in it, stained sheets, ripped curtains and a disgusting atmosphere. The bed rails on my mom’s bed were atrocious when wiped with a clorox wipe. The food portions and options should be made for prisoners. It reeked of cigarette smoke and flies were everywhere due to employees taking smoke breaks and leaving the back door open - per mom’s room mate. There’s not enough room in the shared room for a wheelchair to be used and 4 people share the same restroom - don’t forget, no shower. If you miss a sponge bath, they only do it 1x a week. My mom was having a panic attack because of the conditions of this facility and when she asked for meds to calm her down, an employee responded with “there was no nurse to distribute meds”. My mom requires anxiety meds to help keep her calm because of her heart condition and other health issues, otherwise, she could very easily be at risk of having another stroke/heart attack. During all of this, my aunt was with her witnessing everything. One thing they made sure of was that mom signed a DNR right when she arrived. Anyways, this facility was so god awful that my mom called her primary care doctor on Scott Air Force Base and they overheard some of the denied requests for meds and they ultimately told her and my aunt to call 911. She was there less that 6 hours during all of this. When mom arrived at the ER, her vitals were so bad the ER staff advised us she wouldn’t have made it through the night. Side note, this facility billed my mom for 4 sessions each for physical therapy and occupational therapy 1 year later. LOL. Don’t send your loved ones here. They will not be taken care of properly."
