"Went in for pelvic pain earlier this year and was told by a nurse “I don’t know what’s wrong with you”. Meanwhile the ultrasound tech said I had a cyst and I saw it on the scan. They refuse to let me make any appointments with me continuing to have pelvic pain and bleeding. They need to be more careful with that they say to their patients because they can get sued for malpractice. Dodging phone calls about medical issues… good luck keeping your patients returning. This office is a scam."
"SO AGAIN THIS IS JUST MY OPINION: I made a second account to make another 1 star review. Perhaps they buy/pay people or friends to say good things or have their staff do it. (Speculation) To keep themselves in business, counter balance the bad reviews and trick people who don’t know. There are no middle road ratings either. One: best ever, or two: the worst experience ever in a doctor’s office. Good news: NOT ALL reviews are bad, some are good reviews. I glad that they are not all bad. But I think it’s because those people actually see the doctor. “ the whole staff is good. “ the 5 stars say. Some nurses are better than others I’ve seen for myself. The whole place made me feel like a prodded cow though getting my insurance milked off through appointment after appointment. But they are used to people feeling pain and desensitized themselves over time - Maybe without even realizing. Some nurses I had don’t have any maternal instincts when people like me turn into scared babies wanting their mommy when they are exposed and in pain and alone with people who hardly know them. Credit due: Some nurses were more sympathetic but I didn’t have that when I ACTUALLY needed it in pain… if you need to change a IUD they technically do it over 3 appointments but I felt very little genuine compassion. I maybe once saw my doctor ( Dr. Haas) in the 5 years I went there. I’d be surprised if she could pick me from a line-up. unless she studied photo flash cards before hand. I know I couldn’t pick her in a line up. Maybe they are better when they aren’t busy or distracted away from you. However, the honest poor reviews are not to be ignored. They included sentiments like uncaring, bad experiences, don’t read charts or learn medical history from you, and not pulling through with promises (financial or otherwise), charging for transferring info ( like you can’t just give a patient’s second choice the info for free? Why do people have to pay you to escape you?) I didn’t have it the worst there like others and maybe that’s why I kept trying there for years but I want to speak loud enough so people know the risk! It was only one time I needed to not want to go there again. You could experience all the 5 star experiences. However, if you had one or two of the type of 1 star experiences I read about with a baby, or with birth control, with your money… wouldn’t that be enough for all that trust to fall apart on you? It only takes getting hurt once to traumatize yourself. My last experience broke my trust in nurses and doctors and I will never trust doctors or nurses as much now. I had a nightmare about my last visit and sadly my future dreams will probably have that risk. Thanks for giving me paranoia, and making me less trusting I guess… I hope if they stay afloat they at least take these sad reviews to heart to help the future patients that go there- like me - just for help."
"This entire office is amazing to work with. From PCOS, fertility issues and giving birth they were there every step of the way. My son & I owe our life to Dr. Haas, quite literally. Forever thankful for Women For Women!"
"I’ve been going here for years! Dr. Thornton has been my doctor for annual visits through birth and postpartum care. I love that she is clear and to the point, yet kind hearted. The nurses and NPs are very responsive and kind. I always get a call back on the same day, which is unheard of these days. Thank you to all the ladies at W4W!"
"The whole staff is kind, caring, attentive, and sweet! Dr. Haas is a wonderful Dr. She takes you seriously and helps you as much as she can. I can’t speak highly enough of this office. It’s the first time I’ve felt truly safe in an OBGYN! 10/10 recommend!"
