"They helped me with my dog bite and kept me informed about everything the whole time. Dr. Nathaniel even explained everything he was doing as he was doing it, making everything a whole lot better for me. Everyone was extremely polite and kind, overall the best experience I've ever had there."
"When I got to the er it was packed & having come in an ambulance I had already had an egg & pain relief but it til took about 1 1/2 hrs til I was checked by hospital staff. I was very aware that they were understaffed & there were several difficult patients that prolonged the care the rest of us got. The staff did what they could with the situations so I commend them but I was there for 11 hours total. A night nurse, Hayley & the evening triage nurse whose name I have forgotten were great & very patient. They both took care of patients & had to pickup after patients who just dropped blankets and trash all over. Thank you to all the staff who keep their cool under difficult conditions. God bless"
"Definitely is a nice hospital. The ER moves really quick like, while you're in the waiting room, the collect samples of what is needed. Also will do X-rays. Then put you back in the waiting room. When a open room is available they do call you back but knowing that you don't have to wait until you're in a room to have them already working on what ails you is honestly the best experience I've ever had. When I went to Barnes I was in the emergency room for 16 hours before they even moved me to a room. So I was there almost 24 hours it felt like before I was diagnosed with dystonia which is honestly one of the worst ailments I have ever had. So completely uncomfortable and it hurts. So knowing that Saint Mary's is working on making sure you're all right before you're even in a room definitely shows me that they're willing to go the extra mile to make you as comfortable as possible while you wait for a room."
"Triage nurse Niki on the night shift neglected her job and discriminated against my sister and myself. was very rude and waited until 1st shift staff came in to take over. She and the night shift team, a "head nurse" and another 3rd shift staff were all in on waiting until someone else takes over. Niki tried to pursue my answers when getting checked in mentioning "for insurance purposes" to get my answers changed. I was informed by the charge nurse on day shift, nights shift physician should have so saw me and the night shift where more staffed than day shift. Everyone I spoke with after Niki was very pleasant and listened to my concerns and not brushing me off, unlike Niki. She yelled at me like a child when I was trying to ask a question and lied on me stating I had been arguing with her all night which was not the case . I asked a question about paperwork and she lied and got the head nurse instead of the provider, which I'd been informed was on duty and should've been called by Niki, this information came from Martha the charge nurse . Also while getting medication I was sat near an open, over flowing, biohazardous container pictures provided ."
"I have never experienced such unsatisfactory service from this establishment in my life. I was put in a room without a bed and given pain medication upon discharge. I was not seen nor spoken to by a doctor. I had to request to speak to someone before discharging me. I needed to know what the outcome of my x-ray was and more. Make it make sense. Insensitive at its finest, because I wouldn't dare treat an animal like this."
