"It is in my personal experience that Dr. Bergfeld and several staff members in his office are completely apathetic to their patients. There is no emotion in their voices or faces. I am on day 4 of telling Dr Bergfeld and his staff how to write a prescription for compression devices for my dad. I am not a licensed nurse or anything but somehow I am directing them on how to write prescriptions and put orders in for medical supplies. All they ever say is they are very busy but when I have been in the office there are 0-1 patients in waiting room and at our last visit we were there waiting for Bergfeld for almost 35m in his office. Since my dads many trips to specialists, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities, Bergfeld has been the only one to NOT ASK "what can we do to help your dad?""

"A little shocked in reading the adverse comments below. Almost as if they were reviewing a doctor other than Brian Bergfeld. I've been a patient of Dr. Bergfeld since Jan 2011, and have visited him 2x a year on average, including an annual physical near the 1st of each year. While I've found him mild mannered, I've also found him very knowledgeable and nonjudgmental. He was very supportive when i decided on my own to quit smoking. He is a general practice internist. Dr Bergfeld has been helpful in referring me to specialists on occasion for injuries. if you're looking for someone with a good bedside manner, is thorough in his diagnostic testing and easy to approach and understand his answers...Dr Bergfeld is the doctor for you."

"I have found Dr. Bergfeld to listen well and to be thorough and thoughtful. Contrary to the comment about taking people off their meds, he wants to make sure you aren't taking things unnecessarily. The practice is well staffed and it is relatively easy to get an appointment. I switched to Dr. B when my old Dr retired and i am very satisfied."

"New doctor for me, since my old doctor had medical issues and had to retire. DR. Bergfeld, seems very knowledgeable and thorough. He answers all questions to his fullest ability. He took care of some skin problems I had been worried about. One thing I did not like was that he reduced the dosage on my tranquilizers, and I have not been as calm since.
