"Overall H&L builders did a great job with our new house. The only thing that could be better would be communicating the details effectively to the subcontractors, there were a couple things that had to be stopped or redone because the subcontractors were doing the wrong thing according to the house plan."

"We have bought 3 houses from Jeff Holland in the Patio Homes in Far Oaks and we have NEVER had any problems. You cannot call Jeff, Heather or Chase without receiving a response immediately. Jeff has a great eye for design and color and is always coming up with new ideas. Heather could not be nicer or more helpful and Chase will always help with his opinion and is learning the business quickly. I have no idea who the people below have been dealing with, but they aren't the Hollands we know and have worked with for several years. Also, Bill O'Brien the supervisor is just the best to make everything right. Some builders are constantly given a bad rap and may deserve it, but not Hollands we know. Maybe you are just difficult to deal with and don't know what the word "gracious" and patience mean."

"*****RESPONSE TO JEFF HOLLAND**** 6/27 POST BELOW.****** The response below by Jeff Holland is incorrect. 1. There was NO home building next to the previous owners while they occupied the home. Of course they were satisfied, you didnt destroy their patio and yard. 2. St Claire officials informed us that this is a CIVIL matter with you; they never said you corrected anything. 3. Last you did the minimal, you could have prevented this situation, but you were busy making money. 4. We were unable to use the back yard for 18 months,and still cannit use. 5. Your time/money spent for throwing hay and a few pieces of grass is delporable. You are responsible for returning the yard to its original state. It is your ethical, business responsibility to pay for it. 6. You refused to clean off the patio for 18 months, and only did it, after I reported you to the BBB. 7. Your definition of BETTER, is not what we bought, and not what you would like your family to look at or be restricted from using for 18 months , and the additional year it will take to grow, and it still floods after your "version of repair" . 8. The issue is NOT about the building of homes, it is about how you DAMAGED our property while making money building homes. And expect for us to be alright with a mediocre, minimal, and sub standard respair. Never repaired it to its original state. Never responded appropriately to our numerous request for 18 months. We have NOT been able to use our patio and back yard. When you call the office rudeness and disrespect has been our experience. Buyers beware of the owner and beware of their HOA.
