"Me and my boyfriend rented the 16 foot with a liftgate. No truck the morning of. Cost us a huge amount of money and time to fix. Not even a sorry from the office. Instead he got aggressively defensive. What a poor excuse for a company. No communication between their reps. No effort at all to rectify problems they caused. I will NEVER rent penske again. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE"

"ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE COMPANY. I own a store in the quincy town center mall and need a 16 foot truck with a liftgate from pensky. i had a 100ft container coming from Texas to pack up my store with no liftgate yesterday. My plan was to load my shrink wrapped pallets onto the 16foot trailer with a liftgate I rented from pensky and back that up to the container using the liftgate as a bridge. I called and placed the order was told no problem, even called to confirm with the local office twice. I get there and they tell me they dont have a single truck with a liftgates in their district. Then the owner there had the audacity to tell me what"I" should have done different when ordering the truck. Not that he was going to work harder with corporate to make sure they are all in the know. He tried to absolve all responsibility and pinned it on everyone else and did nothing to rectify the situation. If pensky is the name on the name on the side of the building. YOUR PENSKY. You dont only get to use the name when it suits you. I ended up having to spend $500 on a forklift last minute, plus more in labor to find a guy to run it and had my people standing around why I was coming up with a solution. Pensky agrees that they screwed me. (local and corporate) But hey have done NOTHING to rectify the situation. I will continue to leave bad reviews here until the problem is dealt with. maybe this retailer will feel more of a personal sense of responsibility because I am not letting this go. If this review stands. Then they did nothing to fix the huge mistake they caused me. If they rectify ill remove it. DONT ORDER HERE! GO ANYWHERE ELSE! BEWARE!"

"Overcharged brother has corona had to return for him while he was in hospital. He couldn't return it himself. Unfortunately he didn't get to use truck and due to sickness wasn't able to return until I find out he even had this truck.he was charged almost 900.00 bucks. Even after we tried calling and explaining the situation. Covid has a man down and Penske will finish him off with the price. Sad deal."
