"The Polk County Historical Society is the home of a vast collection of Polk County memorabilia and artifacts, from the original population, through the Revolutionary War and well beyond. The Geneology Library has information on many of the oldest families and the staff helpful in assisting anyone researching family trees. Hours are Wednesday-Saturday, 11 am to 4 pm. Stop by any of these days. You will feel right at home. Admission $3,00 for adults. Donations are welcomed."
